The paper I order in the 12" X 18" size was cut to provide 1,000 sheets in the 9" X 12" size. This is the right size for making copies of musical symphonic band parts, many of which come in this size. The paper I ordered was heavy enough to remain flat against a music stand and its surface quality lent itself well to the reproduction of the music. The only minor criticism I might offer is that it was a little pricey and I might do a little shopping next time to find a somewhat less expensive paper to use.
